Eeyore’s Place is a repository for a number of articles written up to 20 years ago and previously posted on other sites that were managed for the Westcombe Society and the Greenwich Industrial History Society amongst others. Since my retirement, the original hosting of these sites by Goldsmiths, University of London is no more, so this is their new home.

The main site pages, previously known as Greenwich MM relate to the re-development of the Greenwich Peninsula, the history and building of the Millennium Dome, the Millennium Exhibition (MEX) of 2000 and the subsequent conversion of the Dome in to a ‘container’ structure for the highly successful London O2 Arena.  The pages were created between 1996 and 2008.

In addition, occasional Blog pages are planned that will contain items on recent past and current developments in Margate, and Thanet in general, where the author now lives.
